At long last I learned to make a sock on two circular needles. I was having way too many hand cramps from contorting my fingers in strange ways to hold my dpn's. It feels a little like holding a squid with the loose ends flopping around but I like it. There are no spare needles to keep up with, I don't stab myself when digging around in the knit bag, and Big C will have a much harder time pulling the needles out of mommy's sock.
